       elizabeth let out a sound that was SUPPOSED to be a laugh, but rang painfully hollow, even to herself. she knew, really, that despite this new wrinkle in their lives, that she has no claim over robert. so this other ex....whatever she was to him turning up and getting all flirty with him really shouldn’t bother her. she was the mother of his daughter, that was all. ❝ they are rather...AFFECTIONATE, aren’t they ? ❞ she hated how hurt she sounded. this was hardly the lesson she wanted to impart to her daughter.

             HALLOWEEN IN MADISON, 2019     -it probably shouldn’t have surprised Diana the way it did. Blinking she looked down at the small plastic bag in Janet’s outstretched hand, trying to ignore the lingering, victorious grin on her friend’s lips. Sarah had taken the twins, giving her, and Matthew, the opportunity to celebrate All Hallow’s eve without too much ruckus- thankfully. She had even sworn that dressing up as a witch was not on her list for that year.
