Merry’s sister, Kristen.

Well. I said this page would be “mostly” Merry, didn’t I? But there’s plenty of other characters that inhabit the same world of her. And of immediate interest, would be her younger sister. Kristen Mattei.

Technically, Merry’s half sister. Unlike her sister, who was given to her father as a gift from the Fire Godess Agni, Kristen is a fullbred human born to the Dragon Slayer Vincent and his Wife, Tia. Much like her mother, Kristen has fiery red hair and brown eyes, but she has been known to dye it from time to time.

She may be younger, but you’d be forgiven for thinking she’s the older sister. Not only is she taller, but her personality tends to be a bit more subdued. If kinda flirty and teasing from time to time. She loves social gathering and events. And any excuse to dance is a good excuse to dance.

Despite all that, Kristen is secretly very insecure about herself. Especially her appearance and works hard to maintain it. Excercise and dieting are part of her routine, as well as taking special care of her hair. And she often tries to drag Merry into her routine as well. Merry loves the hair part. But for kinda obvious reasons, isn’t as fond of the excercise and dieting.

One of Kristen’s particular quirks is her fascination with magic. In the world Kristen and her family inhabit, known as Kros. Magic is very real. But unfortunately, Humans are incapable of harnessing it naturally. Unlike the other five races. That said, Kristen has read many many books on the subject and practices many Sleight of hand tricks and illusions. This is what eventually leads her to follow in Merry’s footsteps on her own journey. Taking a particular interest in the Magician of the group.

Much like Merry, Kristen accessorizes her outfit as well. But not quite to the same extent. Usually favoring a simple Metal hairband and occasionally, a pair of blue triangular earrings. She also attempts to cover a little more then Merry. But still needs to keep her outfit light thanks to the heat. She has a heart tattoo on her right shoulder that she likes to keep displayed.
