Inktober 2019 Day 1 - Ring
Extremely late retroactive Inktober catch up! Last year, I missed the first week of Inktober because of work, and I’ve finally found time to catch up lol! For today’s sketch, I wanted to pay tribute to the new Pokemon which I’ve really enjoyed. (shhh I know it’s a Dynamax band and not a ring but... oh well)
By the way, this sketch and the others I have done so far are up for sale on my Etsy store! These are the one-of-a-kind original sketches (not prints) so once they are sold, they are sold! (I’ll be putting together an Inktober 2019 book with copies later this year though!)

There was some force of nature in the back of his head that brought him to the doorsteps of the restaurant without a second thought. They’d made a thing of it, a special outing to the restaurant they’d had their first date in all those years back, once a month. And even though he was sure Elliot would want nothing to do with him for the rest of his life at this point, he was nothing if not a creature of habit.
But as soon as he got there he wasn’t sure what he was doing. It only reinforced the ache in his chest that he wasn’t here with her. This was stupid - and he’d decided that and turned to step out just in time to find himself face to face with her.
“Oh shit sor-” he muttered before his brain fully processed who it was that was standing before him, an apology that died on the tip of his tongue.
“...Hi.”
