(Took me way too long to remember how to post)

I recently went looking for fanfic of Thief's Magic cuz I read it in my school's library and became obsessed with the story.

To my dismay, there are currently TWO, count them, ONE, TWO, works on AO3.

After looking through some sites, I found one person drawing art of the characters on insta and two people talking about it here on Tumblr.

The worst part is I don't even know how to get the rest of the series

(Again, I found it in my school library and I'm sure it's not in any bookstore near me. And the nightmare of having to order things from overseas is a bridge I have yet to cross)

So ultimately, I just have this ONE book to latch onto and I have to just be satisfied with that. 😭

I have just read a Thief's Magic, Trudi Canvan. Frist book of Milenium's rule. And I am curious. Why the main characters don't have a single fanart or website on wiki? Are this fandom dead? I guess I must visit Ao3, but seriously any single fanart? This is suspicious... 😳

Ps. I may ship the beetle with Tyan. Am I okay?? Maybe I am sick more than i thought 😂

Weird & Wonderful Wednesday

Ooh, archaeology and supernatural. Tyen is the archaeology student who finds a book (a sentient book!) called Vella. Vella had once been a sorcerer and bookbinder who was turned into the book. And, who somehow may save Tyen and the world. Of course, everyone wants the book, and so, Tyen has to protect it by escaping.

Then there’s Rielle. She’s stuck in a patriarchal society, and one where the magic is wielded by the religious parts of her society. Until she meets a ‘tainted’, one who isn’t part of that, but still uses magic.

And, it’s a series!! And, because of that, it does have to set up a lot of things. But, I enjoyed the world building, and definitely am looking forward to the next books in the series.
