I thought this guy would have a love interest basically his own age (40s) because she's divorced & running her own business but not to worry. The author explains that she was basically a child when she got married and is only in her 20s now.

y'know. this book isn't very good.

I wonder if it's better if you like historical fiction? I generally don't, unless there's a big change between the fiction world and ours (see: Cold Magic, Dread Nation, etc.)
