✿ On Patrol ;; GAREKI ✿
Days in Clow Kingdom were hot. But that was to be expected of a desert, of course. Really, it came as no surprise that Sakura had grown quite accustomed to warm climates and the outfit she often sported was the perfect material to wear during the day when the sun set highest in the sky. At night, however? Not so much. When the temperatures in the Kingdom would drop, the Princess would change into something warmer just before curling up into bed with a smile on her face and sleep on her mind. It was thanks to the few feathers retrieved for her that the brunette was able to recall such memories about her home.
But things here were different. Her precious companions were nowhere to be found nor did there seem to be a single feather in sight. The air was freezing cold and it was so dark that the brunette could barely see her own hand when held in front of her face. The only thing keeping her warm and giving her guidance was the cloak of her outfit around her shoulders and the small, pink glow stick gifted to her for being a new member of Team Five. It was too bad that a glow stick didn't offer much light nor did a cloak attached to an outfit that hung loosely from her shoulders and revealed most of her midriff. However, Sakura was never one to complain. Instead, she counted her blessings-- however few they may be.
The voice of her fellow team members caught the girl's fluttering attention just in time for her to wave a short 'farewell' to them. Being the weakest link, the rest of them were off to search the area for food and gnomes while she would stay behind in the Mirror House. However, one other person seemed to stand still and the brunette found herself slowly approaching him, warm smile intact on even such a cold day. Or was it night? The dark made it hard to tell.
"You didn't want to go with them?" She stood beside the other, her gaze never leaving the backs of their other partners as they all faded into black with the distance being pushed between them. Pausing for a moment, the Princess takes this quiet opportunity to bring her hands up to her face and blow her breath against her chilled fingertips. "I would have liked to help, but..." Her words are muffled by her palms but she hopes the other can still make out the words she's saying, "I would have only gotten in the way."
