Bad news for Gerben Thijssen. He is working on his rehabilitation after a major fall during the Six Days of Ghent. He was allowed to leave the hospital last week, but now he had to go under the knife again.

Thank you for raising us up in love. Thank you for the Godly life that you have lived, and given as an example. Through thick and thin you've always been there for us, always provided us with more than needed. We have lived under God's blessing because of your deeds, because you have loved the Lord your God, because you have honored Him by following His commandments. We were, are, and never will be short. If our lives are blessed it is because we are the descendants of an upright man. Through faith, and love of our Lord Jesus Christ we have been blessed abundantly in grace. Thank you Dad for giving us the lifestyle we live, for always believing in us even when sometimes we don't deserve it, but most of all; for letting God's love shine through every aspect of your life. You are a father of more than three children, a father to many, many more. I pray that God keeps granting you wisdom, and that I one day may honor you, and God, as you have honored God.
