This is the third of the three owlbears that a friend had 3D-printed for me, with the other two being here and here.

For this one, I also used a wet palette, though I had a much tougher time creating shadows and gradients and such since there were much fewer distinct edges for highlights.

The paints used belonged to, among others, the D&D Adventurers Paint Set. The model was the Owlbear by mz4250.

I got a 3D printer for my birthday, and found this fun little plan online last night. These are valve stem caps for car tires.

I think if I use some plain filament (not fiber reinforced) i can get the datails even smoother next time. These are still going on my car!!

New cosplay skill in progress! I helped @septic-skele set up her 3D printer, and made a little Oscar for my Godzilla figure. He deserves it.

3D printing is fun and we already learned how to troubleshoot some stuff (because apparently half of 3D printing is tinkering and fixing things, as I've heard at several convention panels on the subject, but never fully appreciated until today)

I found the Oscar file on thingiverse, modified it a little using tinkercad, and then sliced it using cura. That was a whole learning process as well

A glowing, beating heart! Heart was 3D printed using the Anatomical Heart by cicerone on thingiverse and some transparent filament.

Chonky Watchy

Got myself a Watchy (v2.0 clone off Aliexpress) and slapped a 803040 1000mah battery on it for the lols, so designed a shell and strap for it. Also uploaded it to Thingiverse if anyone else with one of these wants to make one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6971561
