I HAVE DATED PEOPLE NOW THAT INTERVIEW IS FUCKING THREE YEARS OLD
whatever joker who was using my account while i was gone changed the url and i cant change it back so ig im favourite number *gal* now
It's been a little hard to keep up. I haven't been on social media much, not in any meaningful way. I'm finding that I don't have the energy for it.
I keep thinking that somehow I will magically wake up and discover some previously unknown capacity for completing all of my work tasks in a timely fashion. Reader, you will be unsurprised to hear that that has not been the case. I'm overwhelmed in a way that I haven't felt since I was working on my dissertation. What helped me a lot during those times was the realization that I needed to do something physical, something practical with my hands like plant a garden or build a dollhouse with miniature furniture. I did go through a miniatures phase at the time. Little dollhouse sized furniture and craft paper as wallpaper took up a lot of my time some years ago.
I need that now, I need some kind of an outlet that allows me to move my hands and use the creative parts of my brain because everything else feels useless and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
