A (slightly) more positive update! Ah, I’m sort of in the grips of a random depressive episode rn (but that’s normal, I can’t really...remember when I’m not feeling this way....anyway) ANYWAY, um, sorry about that, the concert went fine! It was great, actually, I didn’t mess up my quartet or the orchestra pieces, and all the work paid off and my teacher was “sort of” proud of me? I think? He gave me a squeeze on the shoulder and didn’t criticize me, so I WILL TAKE IT.
I mean, I did have an asthma attack halfway through, and I had had a.....a really especially bad one early in the day.......but I got through it, and that’s what’s important. Literally, had an attack while I was playing, took my treatment during intermission, and quickly went back on to do my quartet. SO. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED I think I did okay.
I......honestly don’t know how I didn’t mess up really badly, but hey, I will not look this particular gift horse too closely in the mouth.
Now I just gotta....just gotta somehow motivate myself to write......
