Spinning for a cure for cancer! YAS-A-THON 2014

Next month, my wife Julie and I will be spinning for a cure for cancer.  THINKCURE! When: Sunday, June 22nd Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM Event: 3 hour #YASATHON Location: YAS (Yoga and Spin) Costa Mesa, CA #yasfitness Side by side we will indoor cycle for 3 hours in honor of those fighting the battle, in memory of those who have fought the good fight, and for those who have yet to be diagnosed.  Last year, each drop of sweat felt like a tear being shed for those who have suffered from cancer. It was an emotional yet rewarding day seeing us all come together to raise money to find a cure for this ugly disease.   Finding a cure for cancer is near and dear to our hearts. Losing Julie’s dad in 2004 to pancreatic cancer, her aunt in 2010 to bladder cancer and Mark’s uncle in 2013 to prostate cancer is enough for us to want a cure for cancer. Survivors in our family are Julie’s mom and aunt - both are breast cancer survivors.  Many of our family friends are losing their loved ones and are battling cancer right now. WE want to make a difference to help find a cure. 100% of your donation goes directly to finding a cure for cancer. It will fund research for the City of Hope & The Children’s Hospital of LA to cure cancer. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated. Whether you choose to donate or not please let us know who we can ride for - either in honor of or in memory.  We will make another poster this year listing all family and friends that will be beside our bikes.  Seeing all the names listed will remind us of those who have been through the brutal battle of fighting cancer, lost their battle, and for those that continue to fight.
