I am well aware that the SCP Foundation has little to no canon as every entry has fluid dates, times, and people. Someone like Dr. Kondraki could have died in one while in others he is still alive. I find it interesting, not in the way of multiple canons but rather in the way almost all of them show seperate depictions. Personality and physical traits are all interchangeable, especially with certain characters. It all depends on who is writing.
Characters like Alto Clef, Iceberg, and Kondraki could be shown as asocial and abrasive in most canons while in a certain few they are changed to be other traits entirely.
Portraits of Your Father, for example; Kondraki is shown as a Bipolar man with some abrasive aspects and an alcohol addiction but also just as many more positive characteristics. It is actively built upon that he held empathy for humanoid anomalies, as he did with Iris in the story. With Draven, he was actively in his son's life and tried to be a good father figure until the alcohol addiction. He wasn't portrayed as asocial nor was he shown to be rude. He was shown to be a father who had tried to be a good parent and he was shown as an empathetic man who had morals.
In other tales, Kondraki is depicted in a negative light with little to no deviation from it. I believe that it could be fandom interpretation or perhaps a smart writers ploy; think, Draven is in Portraits of Your Father and is shown actively grieving his father. He is not going to immediately go straight to the negatives. Plus, he is his SON... Most people act considerably differently to their children than they do with coworkers.
Kondraki is a character I noticed this mostly in (probably because I like Draven and a majority of his stories have mentions of Benjamin). I am almost positive this happens to both Iceberg and Alto Clef too, as I see most off-site discussions or even roleplays portraying them as huge—pardon my language—DICKHEADS.
Also I'm sick right now and have no idea if this makes sense or has good grammar. Plus, it's been a bit since I have read Portraits of Your Father again so I'm unaware if I'm 100% correct. I also read Dent On Plaster Cast and am trying not to mix up the two stories, apologies if I did. I just wanted to say what I have noticed. (TwT) sorry.
