DEEPIKA PADUKONE
i gave you my whole life and you didn't even want it. the entire point of me is you, you get that, right? someday you'll die and get buried and we can work this out then. and you'd gone and left me behind. don't worry, honey. i'll keep the home fires burning
relieved they won’t make a shin godzilla sequel. i like the ambiguity of the ending and how they leave it hanging in the air regarding the future of japan with godzilla in stasis due to the coolant used to freeze him, it’s interesting instead of just showing us what happens.
i probably do think godzilla woke up again, but i’m not sure what might’ve happened if so.
i‘m rly wasting 40 hours of my life every week, for abt the next 40-50 years of my life.
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
The future scares me. I'm getting older the longer I wait. I want to take my time to discover what it is I want to spend the rest of my life doing, but I haven't yet found it. The pressure to know has never been greater. Every day that passes is a reminder that some hypothetical deadline is approaching, and that I am wasting away my days because I can't give a definitive answer. What I want to do, what makes me happy, is not something that can take me far in life. What I could do, what I should do even, seems like an interminably daunting path I don't want to take. I'm spreading myself thinly again, even though what I'm doing now does not compare to what others can do, or what I might be doing in the future. Can I just have another year or two? I'm not ready for the world. I know where I want to be, but not what and how.
thinking...
i remember the day i let go. after you'd been with her for a while... and i'd still for some reason thought it was a fling... but i was walking behind you both one day and watched you say goodbye, and even after you'd been in a relationship for so long, you both turned around to watch each other leave. you didn't see her looking at you and she didn't see you staring at her, but i knew what it meant. and i let go.
it's been a couple years since this has affected me at all.
but today i realized i'll likely never see you again either. and i'll probably never tell you how much you meant to me. i've been realizing this more and more. but it's okay really. i don't know if this is bad to be thinking about. i'm sad. i shouldn't be, i'm not in love with you anymore.
