Just got home. Dropped off by an Uber and I’m remembering the time a few winters ago when I hopped in an Uber around this same time at night, tipsy af, stomach curling…Uber pulls up and I hop in. First thing that greets me is a pungent aroma, like The. Thang…STANK!! . And this guy just marinating in the stink with the heater on smh..Im already thinking “you getting ONE STAR buckooo” . He starts driving…(mind you again it’s winter)… I crack the window, he gives it about 10 secs and rolls the window up. I crack the window again.. this nigga rolls it back up bro😭 I CRACK IT AGAIN this guy gon kiss his teeth and roll the window back up LOL! Im a paying customer foooo! Why you punishing me like this 😭….I ended up asking him to turn the heater off and I put my scarf round my face.

I laugh now but that was my worst Uber ride

I’m reading a book called “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” it’s about a seagull who’s outcasted because he had contrary desires to the flock..He wanted to perfect his flying ability. flight is mentioned a lot throughout the book..I look at it as a metaphor for certain areas in my life…

but why I’m writing this rn is because I’m remembering that I seen a license plate the other day that said “WANNAFLY” and that was cool. I immediately thought of the book..my ass obviously finna take it as a sign from God🙏🏾🤓🤪

When I wake up feeling off or feeling like I’m about to have a bad day, I pray about it. I ask God for some help then forget about it. At the end of the day, I think about how it went... I even forget I prayed for help lol but I realize God actually came thru for me.

I recently noticed ive been listening to a majority of media passively. Whether it be a podcast,music, or a random vid playing. I don’t listen or watch with intention as often as I should or used too…hmmm💭 that has to change….cuz I remember being obsessed with topics and that passion made me learn with intention, so in a way I knew what I was looking for even when I didn’t…. I wanna revive that passion in me.. only cuz I now realize that it’s missing.. so I’m currently searching for it now.. tryna remember back to the first moment that inspired me to lose it.
