Something I Always See in witchblr

Alright, listen up witches. This is something I've noticed that older witches in the community alwayas try to annouce to baby witches, but I don't think it always gets through. When you first start out in the craft, you have no idea what you're doing, where to start, nor how valuable basic household things that you already have are. You don't need an latar or fancy witchy tools to be a witch. What you need is your intention, and the belief that you have the power to make whatever you want happen. Tat is the only true rule. Always believe in yourself, and always have an intention. Well, maybe exept for in divination, but that's a whole other topic. Anyway, this is youf journey. your practice. Make it personal, make it something that you enjoy doing. Don't make it feel like a chore because a website from some blog said to do the ritual in this specific way. Spells always work better when you personalize them anyway. Make it yours, and make it fun! Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.

I recently noticed ive been listening to a majority of media passively. Whether it be a podcast,music, or a random vid playing. I don’t listen or watch with intention as often as I should or used too…hmmm💭 that has to change….cuz I remember being obsessed with topics and that passion made me learn with intention, so in a way I knew what I was looking for even when I didn’t…. I wanna revive that passion in me.. only cuz I now realize that it’s missing.. so I’m currently searching for it now.. tryna remember back to the first moment that inspired me to lose it.

Have an assortment of experiences or build something lasting?… a question I’ve been asking myself subconsciously. But I Just now realized after analyzing my actions.

My creative side says the former, so I’ll have things to pull from later, but the latter is bound to be fulfilling in the long run maybe? :/ … but so may the product of my creativity, but sometimes It takes more than it gives. It seems I choose to love the things that give me scars. On the bright side it shows me healing is possible. But your outlook is forever changed

Anyyywaysss ^_^ since we perceive our own realities. I will choose to believe both are possible. It’s just time that stands between.

The product is beautiful but process is ugly.

as an artist i used to pride myself on how quickly i used to create a good song or beat, but after watching numerous videos on how things are made (like glass marbles or wool sweaters). ISH really be a long, tedious and thoughtful process.. Ive always known that and experienced it but when you’re in the position of creating, the pressures of topping the last record you made really take a toll on the actual process, and you forget the process.

The feeling after rain. De ja vu. Meditation. Grass between your toes. Knowing something’s wrong. Laying in the sun. Kissing someone for the first time. The feeling when you first wake up. Climbing onto rooftops. Kissing your pets. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. Shaky hands. Three in the morning thoughts. Long baths.

These things. These ideas. These energies.

That’s what they are, energies, that we, as humans, possess the ability to comprehend. Energy is everywhere, it’s life, and you’re surrounded by it. We are all born with the natural ability to harness energy.

Magick, is simply that. Controlling energies. Controlling your own energy, others energy, your surrounding energy, ect.

To pay closer attention to the smaller things in your life is the first step in finding yourself in energy. You’ll find that the energy of your family, your friends, your yard, the shows you watch, all effect your own energy. To dissect and break it down into parts, is where your aptitude for magick begins to grow. You’ll find the more aware you are of the energy around you, the more you can control it.

In your own way. Step outside in the rain. Kiss that person you’ve been meaning to. Take a nap.

These things, this life, is magickal. You are magickal. Pay attention to your life. Magick is happening all around you. Feel it in your shaky hands.
