I made a new save file so i could do @/nudibros pestinance + permadeath challenge and now Im imagining how I could play with the idea of my lamb's name throughout their development of their cult (mostly bc I found rlly good words that just tickle my brain sexy style)
So im imagining that in the beginning of their godhood, the Lamb either goes by Lamb/Sheep or Knell (Which is described to be sound of a bell slowly ringing to announce a death or funeral or just a general end of things) And I think at this point in their infancy the lamb kinda reflects the slow ringing of church bells, theyre silent, they move with some grace?? But you can see how theyre underdeveloped for this kind of thing (like when youre new to a job yk yk?)
And they dont give themself these names btw, theyre all by their followers and lamb just sticks with that
So probably after Leshy or Heket, the name "Nex" could start popping up or "Mori" either way you can see that in this development they bring that etherealness or grace that the names inspire, like the whipping cloak of "Mori" as the divine winds blow their flaking mortality way
Or smth like that!
They keep the name till they reach Narinder, which after the usurption they choose to call themself "Mortala" Which is defined by the loss of divine grace or spiritual death, which could relate to at this point they lost all faith for their former god Narinder, and implants that into their identity (Also i think it could be interesting if the followers called them Moritala sometimes)
(Ok now to delve into my own lore for my lamb) I think by the time theyre starting to settle into snow shepherd stuff they go by Edur (probably after the first winter ritual they cast) and for now thats their name (yk till i think of new lore)
