Literally the FIRST thing I thought of when playing the new story quest was "how will this affect fragile!reader lore? 🤔🤔" You completely changed my brain chemistry to the point where I confuse canon with fanfiction it’s actually kinda funny

I guess I've been toying with some ideas in my head after this 🤔

Reader still being sick but never going into a coma, so they stay with Zandik until the end of his life and die together OR he convinces them to stay alive with the elixir (reincarnation or rebirth shenanigans idk)

Reader waking up to original Zandik gone with just the segments (the relationship entirely depends on whether they know the segments had a hand in his death)

And of course my original timeline (you already know this one)

Time to retype a page of the Homestuck fanfic ARGGG but it's okay because AT LEAST I DIDN'T LOSE IT!!

I'm also kind of thinking of maybe starting to post it on AO3 while I type up the scene and then slowly finish it I'm not sure I try not to do that because then there's always the possibility of not completing the commitment and then I don't get the chance to really do the final giant edit but I've just been sitting on this fic since THE END OF JUNE
