computer people on tumblr wtf is this part that malfunctioned on my t450 thinkpad motherboard
This component is located by the ram-the ram is underneath the component in this picture but when the motherboard is turned like how it normally is it's underneath. It's to the left of the CPU
screenshot i got of ANOTHER motherboard of the same model. what is it? and is it a frequently failing motherboard component bc i got a replacement motherboard for christmas and yeah it was used but this same component also didn't look right.
i'm asking out of curiosity but like i haven't been able to find an answer anywhere and its kinda frustrating me
