We were written up on Jasmine McGee's culture blog ThinkSoul25! Here's an excerpt of what she said about us:
I’ve seen a few acoustic duos in the past, but none of them have that originality and edge that Matthew Otto and Zach Breslin have.
The two guys are extremely talented guitar players, and the vocals are on point! They have a lot of great original songs on their YouTube page, but their most innovative and original video is a mashup of Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” and Peter Bjorn and John’s “Young Folks.” Their version is called “Pumped up Young Folks” and it so needs to be heard! The title itself is witty and speaks to the personality of Otto. Both of the original songs are great on there own, but hearing them pieced together in such a beautiful acoustic version is simply mind blowing! I honestly don’t think anyone else could do a better mashup of those songs, it just doesn’t seem possible. Otto did such a great job and their mashup feels like an entirely new song that could easily be played on radio stations across the nation, even worldwide!
