thinobi (sand cat) fashion tests. thinobi are one of the very few races who consistently cover up their feet due to the intense temperature of the sand they live in. in fact, they cover up darn near everything to avoid sunburn. clothing has gotten looser over the years thanks to the effect of making them look like sweet little kittens wearing their mommy's shirt, which is immensely helpful when trying to charm a stranger into trading away their wares at a much lower price.

very rough idea for the five races of feline for the cowcats. the thinobi is their version of the sand cat, which unfortunately does not seem to have any other nicknames, unlike the rest. im still working on all their individual lore, which ill post about here as it develops. i kinda leaned into tolkein-ish race theming for their designs, just for fun.

the thinobi and caracal people have a less-than-amicable relationship - at least, on the part of the caracal. thinobi dont have a bone to pick with anyone. it's not good for business.

thinobi are best known for their trading of interesting materials and trinkets, which has granted them a lot more wealth than would be expected of a people coming from a near-barren desert. these materials and trinkets were initially (and sometimes presently) thefted from their neighbors, the closest ones being the caracal, and swapped with better things far away before the thievery could be discovered or stopped. as such, the caracal dont trust or like them, and are quite annoyed at having been followed by them all the way to the haven-lands.
