Wolfgang sighed as he looked over his potions book. It was one of the classes that he hated and had a bit of a harder time with, mostly because he pushed all of the studying for it off until the last second. And as it was one of those times. He finally had to sit down and do some studying since he had nothing else that he could do. He had already gone through everything that he could do outside exercising, quidditch and other things that he could think of. He looked up when he heard the sound of someone coming closer and actually hoped for some kind of distraction. “Didn’t think I would find you here at this time of day.”

Isa was in the choir room, a place that he could often be found during his free time. It made a good place for him to practice his songs and even do a little dancing while he did so. He had gotten permission to do this back when he had first joined the choir, something that he had done to give him more reasons to sing. And so he was in here almost every day when he wasn’t hanging out with friends. What he hadn’t noticed was that someone had walked into the room though when he did notice he stopped everything instantly. “Sorry I didn’t hear you come in…how long have you been here?” While he liked to put on a show, he preferred when that show was already planned out and not someone seeing him just messing around, like he had just been doing.

Marzia sat outside beneath a tree. In her lap was her large cat. A Maine Coon named Ziera who was sleeping peacefully in her lap while Marzia sketched. This wasn’t an uncommon thing when it came to her and her cat. The only thing that was off about it was the fact that Ziera was doing this outside. Normally this only happened inside where Marzia kept the cat but Marzia knew that Ziera wouldn’t run off so she let her out in the sun for a bit.

The sketchbook rested against the napping cat while Marzia sketched. But unfortunately it seemed that any peace that she was ever able to find was always interrupted by something, and this time it was in the form of someone coming and blocking her light which did make seeing what she was drawing a bit harder. “Move.” She snapped not even looking up at who it was. “You are blocking my light and I need to see what I am doing.”

nadia was no stranger to the parties that happened after quidditch matches, and in her mind, it was better that she know about them----and approve---rather than worry about what might happen to one unchecked by her, jac, and the prefects. besides, in the grand scheme of things, it was harmless (if there was one thing people in this school could come together to celebrate, it was quidditch and underage drinking). that her house’s team had won----and knocked dorian shacklebolt down a peg----was simply the icing on the cake.

“i think i’ll stick with my wine, rather than whatever concoction you’ve got there----it looks like you scooped some lake water into a glass, quite frankly.”

“okay, so, i know it’s all serious business and everything but----no one’s dead, and when’s the last time i got a slumber party with all of my sisters and friends? plus my pajamas are super cute, don’t you think? though these sleeping bags could be a lot more comfortable...”

James understood that the situation was dire and concerning, but until they knew more and were able to act, he found it difficult to discuss at length save for with a select few. “It’s not just something we can forget, yeah, I know, but we should try and focus on school as well as we can. Now more than ever, don’t you think? It’s not as if what Professor West is lecturing on today is useless. And we can complain all we want about how ancient Binns is, but he’s seen things like this before hasn’t he? He’s a resource.”

Pouring over his magical theory notes that were of his own postulates and propositions rather than any content that came from his lectures, Brent’s focus did not waver when another presence came into the room. He didn’t so much as even glance up from his papers, dismissive in his address, “I am off duty currently. You can find Zabini or either Carrow if you are in need of assistance.” He’d put in enough energy with Prefect duties in the last forty-eight hours that Brent was owed an evening that he could devote to other pursuits.
