This blog is just a home for what will essentially be “overflow author’s notes” for future chapters of The Purpose of Repose

I tend to get a bit wordy in my a/n’s, and due to vocal readers+the work that goes into writing this fic+life putting gaps between updates, it felt appropriate that I make a separate space to share my thoughts [instead of dumping walls of text on Ao3 — I’m aware not everyone wants to read all of that]. I’ll simply include a link on each new update!

This is just me not wanting to annoy people on Ao3 (or on my main blog, @thirdeyeblue)

stowaway au: a regency au i want to get started on so badly but i'm holding myself back until i finish quid pro quo and the patience of ordinary things!!! tropey tale of class difference, ten is a stowaway on one of rose's father's ships---she discovers him one day, sick and hungry and in hiding and she doesn't have the heart to rat him out 👀

fuckathon: arghhh this shouldve been done way back in april but i never got round to finishing it. one day hopefully. a game of twister during forced quarantine leads to the doctor and rose's first time 👀

@thirdeyeblue this is the most. beautiful thing i’ve ever seen. literally fell to the floor in public and howled in agony this is so. beautiful. literally shivering from the sheer intensity of this scene it is so. elegantly described i can’t stop seeing it. and it is beautiful. feels like a huge glass of chocolate and banana milkshake straight to the soul. crying. shaking. screaming. watching jane the virgin and rafael sucks. eating glass.
