Bounding around the yard she splashed theough the small puddles left by the rains. Still to small to wonder on her own she enjoyed these outdoor playtimes. Spotted coat shining as stray rays of sun broke through the clouds she pounced on every rock and leaf. Crouching low she flicked her tail tip.
The rock moved again. Lowering her body she slowly stalked forward. The rock stood on short legs and began to walk away. Speeding her muddy paws she ran and pounced!
Sniffing about the strange markings on the rock she bapped it with her paw. It did not move. Curious she sniffed at a hole in part of the rocks surface. And bapped again. It did not move. Reaching her small paw out she flipped it to the side.
Little stubby feet flailed. She sniffed and bapped. And flipped it back. Beyond curious she gave it a very small lick. And shook her head sneezing. Nope not food. But. Rock is hurt. Should return to Nelyo. Yes. Maybe get snack for saving rock! Carefully taking it in her mouth she ran to the house trailing mud, wet fur, and a very diaturbed and concerned baby tortoise.
