thirri ( 652 - ? ) is a khalakki of the dothraki, daughter to khal rhanno and his concubine, mellara of lhazar. from a young age, she and her twin brother davro were bitter rivals in a ruthless fight to determine who would eventually inherit their father’s khalasar. thirri was always intent to become khaleesi, despite the disadvantage of her gender among the patriarchal dothraki. she was the mistress of rilla sand and ashford waters, before freeing both shortly after the khalasar's arrival in vaes dothrak, though some speculate they were actually rescued by spies sent by their uncle, prince orion. she eventually defeated davro in single combat, humiliating him by cutting his braid short and therefore eliminating his shot at the leading position within the khalasar. as it is, khalakki thirri is set to become khaleesi after her father's death, assuming the horselords do not break apart at the prospect of being commanded by a woman.
