also, how do you take notes and review? when i take notes, i just do an outline format and wing it. when i need to study, i sit at my desk with blank sheets of computer paper and summarize away. i usually use spiral notebooks because my ap bio teacher got me into them, and instead of using the sheets of printer paper, i was thinking of skipping notes on ever other page and doing a "reflection" type thing on the page i didnt take notes? that sounds cute to review for me but idk
I'll probably have to make a separate post for all of my notes and reviewing later because there's just too much to summarize! But I think it really depends on what subject you're talking about bc my notes and study methods vary a lot with each of them
For detailed subjects, I like making outlines as well and then just read over my notes and take practice quizzes when I need to review. If there are a lot of terms, I like using online flashcards because I can take them with me anywhere
For subjects that focus more on the big picture, like english, I think doing the reflection thing or cornell notes would be helpful! For reviewing literary techniques or other things you need to actually apply to stuff, I like practicing with prompts or examples
For math related subjects, I just make a key with the different formulas I need and then I review the problems I get wrong and practice more with them.
You should just experiment with different note taking and review methods until you find one that works! I think explaining a concept to someone else would also be good for reviewing or maybe you might find drawing diagrams and charts to be helpful
