Pregnancy Update!

How far along: 13 weeks.

Weight gain: Not quite sure. Home scale says I’m down a pound, but I have an appointment on Friday so we’ll see then.

Sleep: Not horrible, once I actually get to sleep. I’m exhausted during the day, but once I get the chance to sleep I can’t actually fall asleep.

Baby purchases this week: Nothing. Boyfriend is still wary of buying things before we’ve told people. I did buy things to put together my mother’s reveal gift though.

Best moment regarding baby this week: Getting my boyfriend to agree to try cloth diapering. Super exciting.

Gender: Still no clue.

Movement: Still feeling little flutters, but again not sure if they’re really the little one moving.

Food cravings: Potatoes and chocolate things. And cucumbers.

Food aversions: Can’t really think of anything.

How’s Mama? Sleepy, nervous, excited.

Miss anything? Being able to eat whenever without getting sick. I used to be fine without breakfast and wouldn’t usually eat until the afternoon. I know that wasn’t really healthy, but having to eat something every few hours to avoid the nausea is driving me nuts.

What I am looking forward to: Hopefully hearing little one’s heartbeat at our appointment on Friday.

Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: So far I’ve seen jalapeño, kiwi, and peach. Again, it depends on the source.
