[[Note: I wrote this right after watching the Chewbacca Mom video, so it’s dated, but the message still applies. If you need a good laugh I recommend rewatching the video.]]
If The Chewbacca Mom video has taught me anything it is this:
It doesn’t matter what you do, it only matters how much joy you have while doing it.
I firmly believe this video went viral because Candace was expressing pure unfiltered joy. That kind of joy is truly contagious. It’s impossible to witness it without being positively affected.
I laughed so hard I was crying. It felt like I was laughing with one of my best friends. It was a euphoric kind of laughter. It was laughter I didn’t know I needed.
I think sometimes we forget it’s the little things in life that bring the most joy.
This week I challenge you to take a moment to recognize and appreciate the simple joy(s) in your daily life.
