Day 18 Something I love about my life: That it's filled with humor. I'm lucky to be surrounded by hilarious people. Humor heals all wounds in my opinion. Thanks for capturing my unflattering but real laugh @michmush Something that scares me: Accepting compliments. Or rather, be willing to accept the idea that what someone is saying to me could be true. It's only been a day but I'm working on it. Maybe one day I'll respond with "thank you" instead of "pfft! Day 17 Something I'm scared of: Heights. I swear this is higher and less sturdy than it looks. Something I love about my life: That I get to have quality time alone on a regular basis. It's such a luxury for an Introvert like me. #thirtydaysofbeingthirty #hannielsthirty (at Cedar Creek Lake)

Day 16 Something I love about myself: my crazy angle toed, crooked, high arched, wide feet. Because screw it, I'm 30 and I'm going to start liking my quirks. Something that scares me: giving complements to a strangers. It was definitely awkward but hopefully it brightened their day. #thirtydaysofbeingthirty #hannielsthirty

Day 15 Something I love about myself: (this is becoming harder and harder 😣) my mole. When I was a kid, my classmates kept asking me why I had poop on my face 😕. When I cried to my mom about it she said that the kids were wrong and that was the mark of an angels kiss. Thanks mom. I don't think either theory is correct but I'm willing to accept that it's somewhere in between poop and angels kiss. Something that scares me: humbling myself and being honest about my limitations. I tried today. Still working on this one but so far my friends have been so supportive. #thirtydaysofbeingthirty #hannielsthirty

(This was my best "working it" look) Day 11 Something that scares me: Being in the spotlight. For real. Day 7 Something I love about my life: that I make time to get lost in a book. There's no escape like reading a good book. One day I'll have a modern version of Belle's library. (Its my birthday, let me dream) Something that scares me: Reading a legitimate literary work. So thanks to @jonhavens I finally started reading Les Miserable today! Day 6 Something that scares me: having a messy house. Especially when people come over. If your persian, you get it. So last night I had people over built a giant, messy FORT and we played in it. I definitely had more fun in my messy house with friends then in my clean one. Day 5 Something I'm scared of: Hiking. I haven't been since I got sick, but @hannahisaperez and @ramona_press were nice enough to invite me anyways. I was beat afterwards, but the fact that I was able to without having a flare was SO encouraging.
