Shame is the newest This Active Dad, or Moth if you prefer, full-length album. After exploring grand choral potentialities with Soundtrack for Sand (2016), This Active Dad has touched down on the sands of pop exploration, and landed somewhere very close to a brazen synth-pop that straddles brooding acousticism and unabashed synthesized danceability. Though the sounds and sands may differ, the lyrical exploration of introspection, privacy, weakness, and shame continues, perhaps as a direct line in the sand, from Soundtrack to Shame.
Luckily for you, Defective Bat is providing ample ways to listen to this nine song unapologetically (or perhaps apologetically) synth-pop feast. If you prefer CD-R, with it's digital syncing potential, or cassette, with it's analog "reliability," we offer both. Or if you forgo physical consumerism, but desire all of the ones and zeros of the world, we have the download option available. However, all of these require a degree of ownership. If you are one to partake in the apparition of "streaming," we recommend you a download as a donation.
