This Business
like trying to view a mountain through a microscope, so ill-suited are the tools for the task: words, for this business of loving you. letters and lines seem no way to proclaim this power that sunders the soil of my body to its core. it should be shouted from every peak! but still the echoes would fall silent, and that is no way to conduct this business of loving you. it should be etched into every stone - but they are too cold and quiet, too lifeless.
how, then, to go about this business of loving you? not in syntax, nor shouting, nor stone. only in choosing you, as the earth chooses spring, as the sand chooses the shore, as the summit chooses the sky, every moment, every day.
