WHAT an excellent day I had so much fun teaching today, my co-teacher is out so it was just me, not even a sub, and wow I just came in, ran the crap out my classes, all the students know me, know my style, know each other and I am endlessly amazed by them even if they are being crazy little teenage monsters they are so interesting and smart and cool and unique and wonderful like wow
#teaching is my CALLING#when i am in front of the class teaching#or circling the class and checking in#or talking one on one with students#or even marking or preparing a lesson#i am like#buzzing with energy and so happy to be doing it#its just#i really hope i never lose this feeling and i will fight to keep it#because this doesn't feel like anything else#this feels.....#like a really big deep breath when you are standing on a cliff side looking at the ocean#this feels........like a fresh breeze on your face after being inside all day#this feels like.......home? almost#i will stop getting emo about teaching once i retire proabably#but UNTIL THEN#WE IN OUR FEELINGS#konner is a teacher
