Parenting my inner child is exhausting, guys

Literally had a progressively worsening headache for 16 HOURS because I (1) forgot I needed to eat, and (2) when I realized I needed to eat and not just subsist on water like a goddamn plant, I had the strongest welling up of "But I don't WANNA!" complete with little (metaphorical) foot stomp.

Like, what? Girl, why? We like food. We have tater tot casserole, that shit is the BEST! Why do we not eat and feel immediately better?

"Don't WANNA!"

Okay, but if we don't eat, the headache is going to worsen and then we'll just be in pain because of our stubbornness and stupidity. Are we this stupid? Do we hurt ourself in our Confusion?
