Yeah because after Dean chopped off Cuthbert Sinclair’s head, Crowley had to call Cass (who wasn’t in the episode room) in order to get Dean to stand down. 

Oh wait...

Cass was prepared to kill Demon!Dean:

Castiel to Hannah:  Sam is alone in this. He’s attempting to change Dean from demon to human with a cure of sanctified blood, but … There’s no guarantee that will work. If it doesn’t, then Dean is gone and the demon must be dealt with.

Castiel to Sam:  Sam, he’s not your brother. At least, not now. You have to be prepared for—
