Having a hard time trying to establish the limit where a post of mine deserves the #absurd minds tag

Because it was originally meant to be a tag to put any posts that were either "why would you post this" flavored or dead dove / dead dove-adjacent, but the issue kinda kicks in when Like Minds as a media, in general, already has themes that would fall under Dead Dove. But also?? I sometimes just dump any post that feels risqué in there too, so what the hell?

It's kinda just a game of "is this too much?", but with the lingering question of "what do others see as 'too much'?" Because what I may see as too much, might extremely differ from what someone else sees as too much, which might differ from another person.

At this point, I've just mainly relied on the mindset of: this media has dark themes, if I delve into them deeper than just surface level, they get the tag.

Watching the 2024 Oswerve match (as one does) and I think the difference between then and now is very interesting.

Swerve saying that he has sacrificed so much and crossed so many lines for the world championship title and Will needs to do the same if he wants to win.

Will on the other hand not being ready to lose his family, his girlfriend and son. Not willing to sacrifice his love and morals for the championship.

I think it's a very interesting thing now. Because while Will still remained somewhat the same, Swerve regrets it (as he told Hangman). He did what he had to do to become world champion but he has lost so much in the process.

But then there is Will. His little brother. The morality of Swerve. During the last arc, you could see Swerve regain his humanity in and outside the ring by Will forcefully dragging him back onto the right path (fighting for someone/something that doesn't involve himself).

Because being good, being a face doesn't mean just being nice to your loved ones (Will and Nana)... you have to see the humanity in someone you call a monster.

My Twitter account is private so I can't interact with the Fandom on there and its frustrating 😤

I haven't really USED Tumblr since I was maybe like a freshman in college like 10 years ago and really only come on herr when I'm deep in a hyperfixation to scroll through posts related to said hyperfixation and hardly interact because I hate inserting myself into people's existing groups and I always just feel like I'll be too old for the groups since I'm turning 30 in like 2 months 😬😅

But, checking daily to see if anyone has made The Long Walk stickers or Keychains/charms 😭

So far I've found one listing for dog tag shaped charms that I will probably order but its $75 for a set of 6, which I totally understand but waiting for pay day for that. And a barkovitch charm in a super cute style but Barkovitch is not my boy so I'm not really wanting to buy that one 🙃

I understand prices to make these things have risen but I would have thought more people would have jumped on this 😭

If I actually had a drawing style I liked I would have made my own stickers by now 😮‍💨

i think part of the reason disco elysium is like one of my favourite games ever is that's its a crpg with no combat in it which god i love that like combat is my least favourite parts of most rpgs either because the system is boring or there's just so many fights. also the writing in disco elysium is so fucking good.

I know I’m worthy of love. But whenever my friends ask to hang out with me, or wants to know my opinion, I’m like ?? you talkin to me??? I adore them but still haven’t figured out why I’m likeable, if that makes sense.

Hell, one of my friends wants to move in together. Like, get an apartment and decorate it and whatnot. I’m totally down, but also confused because I get stars in my mind whenever I think about her. I don’t get starstruck when I think about me.

I’m kinda afraid to start the new quest. I don’t want to be confronted with more evidence that the writers have written Durin to be a completely separate entity/consciousness/soul from og Durin.

I know it’s actively against canon. But in my heart and mind, Durin’s soul is made from Durin.

I haven’t determined what set of canon rules I want to believe this through. but it doesn’t really matter.

Whether it is through ley line echoes, souls being connected to irminsul, or just the pure tenacity of Albedo’s alchemy. Durin isn’t a pretender to that dead dragon on the mountain, but is a patchwork creation of love and the hope for rebirth and redemption between Albedo, Andersdotter and maybe even OG Durin himself.

I mean, I’m no expert but one of the core principles of alchemy is the idea of conjoining two objects, or beings, into one, right? Is it so hard to believe that’s what Albedo managed to do? I mean reading about alchemical Rebis, I feel like I’m seeing the pieces of lore they used to build Paralogism (such as mentions of the Red King and White Queen) and also Durin’s character. But Rebis also follows after the stages of purification, so I feel like that’s grounds for the idea of purifying OG Durin and then Conjoining. Not just purification for the sake of taking his place within the world of Teyvat.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding something?? Maybe I’ve missed some piece to the contrary??

thinking abt it, i just never ever talk about my spirituality and how its changed throughout the years

now i sort of dropped the witch label, mainly because i felt ''witch'' didnt describe my belief system or my practices very well anymore, and it had connotations that i was not, e.g a wiccan, and being jewish basically meant that i was excluded in almost every witch space i went into. i also stopped using tarot and crystals etc almost entirely and went to a more ''yoga and meditation and talking to human spirits etc'' type of craft, with guidance from my beloved George

and now i'm just a spiritual practitioner and spiritology/study of human souls and disembodied souls guy, and i also feel that me being a hippie + being jewish also plays into my type of spirituality and complicates it ( not in a bad way though, just makes it more complex )

but yeah whatever um so yeah :)
