Evolet shouldn’t have been where she was, now slowing pacing through the Ravenclaw boys dormitory. She could have gotten caught at any second, but that fact alone didn’t made her walk a second faster. She maintained her slow dragging footsteps through the halls, arms crossed. The passing of two first years took her gaze, their eyes curious and confused. They stayed silent though, reluctant to even question her presence, and continued their way past her and out of the tower.
She envied them, the time of their lives. Young and naïve and inexperienced, unprepared for this horrible place they call life. They were worriless and unafraid for they didn’t quite know what to expect, and their schoolgirl crushes would never feel the same sting as the other horrible L titled love. Then there was the third one, could it be lost, lust, longing? Could it be left, lonely, laceration? It is completely remote and unknown and whatever it shall be the blonde was sure the first years would yet to have adventured it.
They were careless with no burdens on their shoulders, and that she envied more then anything. She longed once more to be her shadowed self whom had no problems or stress. To be cut off from the world and avoiding human contact and affliction, everything was safer that way. But of course she had gone against all of that, betrayed all previous beliefs, and now she found herself making her way to another blond Ravenclaw’s room. Her feet making echoing clacks on the floor beneath them, brushing and banging against the tile. She wasn’t hard to miss, sticking out like a red drop in an ocean of black dreads of emotion, but she didn’t care much.
The ruffles of her dark skirt swayed with her legs as she walked, her arms crossed around her front, clasping on to the opposite forearm. Her Ravenclaw blue top tucked into her skirt and her feet covered in bow boots. She was mostly dressed in her usual despite the cold weather, the only difference was the warming of her stockings and the snow boots laced tight on her feet. Then she reached the door, her petite body turning to face it. She didn’t dare knock, but instead stared at it as if it were to open by itself.
What was she doing, why was she here? Lorcan had confessed everything to her and then just ran away before she could even respond. The problem was, she was relieved that he did. She knew she wouldn’t have been able to say anything to him, a speechless figure standing till she blended with the walls. She hadn’t seen him since, as if they had been subconsciously avoiding each other. Evolet was a Hadamik for fucks sake, the most indecisive people on Earth. She and her brother had commitment issues, fear of making the wrong decision, they couldn’t do anything. It was that trait that scared people away, because just like the both of them other people also fixed themselves to avoid misery.
As often as the girl would claim that pain could never effect her, that whatever happened happens, she deeply knew that was a plastic lie. She was scared. Though she’d never dare admit it, she was scared. Of everything, every inch, and everyone. Of facing the three Ls, life, love, Lorcan and the last one that could only be made by your own mind. Sighing out she swallowed hard and raised her arm to knock on the wooden door. Seconds before her small hand had managed to even grace the wood the door opened and staring at her now were the eyes she had longed to meet with. Blue skies with blue veins reflecting over blue oceans. Her shining pink lips opened slightly to speak, but nothing would come out. Then in a light whisper her voice managed words, “Can we talk?”
