The best Liverpool players I got to see play during their time there
Xabi Alonso.
Only for a year, but it was nice while it lasted😩I wish I was born earlier, I could’ve seen him at his prime, even how brilliant he was in his last season he was even better before! A legend for every club he played for... that’s how great he was. I wish he was recognized more.
Jamie Carragher.
THE Jamie Carragher! One of the greatest. Definitely the best defender. One of the saddest moments ever was his last game when they sung YNWA I was cryin in front of the TV smh WHY HE LEAVE
Philippe Coutinho.
It was like when he joined I forgot about Gerrard😩The magician brought so much light snd creativity to our attack. The king of free kicks, the most shocking and heart breaking thing was so see him leage the way he did. It’s hard to look at him the same, but we wouldn’t have even made it to the round of 32 without him!
Fernando Torres.
Our Lord and Saviour😭I call him this because he brought Liverpool back from the dead. He gave us hope that 08/09 season, he gave us light and joy to be a LFC fan. Every season, he never did bad. It was only upwards from his first game! Even worse than Coutinho though... he left when Loverpool gave him everything. He left the team where it all clicked. We found him, and he found himself. It should’ve lasted, but it didn’t. No one ever wants to leage LFC until they get caught up in the idea of winning. Well, Torres began to go doen when he left us for that damn club LET ME STOP💀💀💀
Mohamed Salah.
I swear you’ll never see anything like this either😭
Ok i know he’s still here but I had to throw him in
Mohamed Salah has produced the greatest debut season not just in LFC history, but Premier League history.
His speed, agility, and control of the ball when being pressured—we haven’t seen this since Suarez. It is an absolute pleasure to see him play, he will become a legend if we win Champions League. I LOVE YOU MO
Luis Suarez.
There’s Torres. There’s Kuyt. There’s Owen. There’s Mo. But then there’s Suarez. I got to see him play during his entire spell at Liverpool, and I’ll never be more greatful. One of the greatest things to ever happen at Liveprool, we’ll never have someone like Suarez again. We can talk about Mo being the best of all time, but for now it is Suarez and will be for a while. His style of play was fresh and new, shocking, and a force that just couldn’t be wreckoned with. We were supposed to win the league that 13/14 season, and the heart breaking thing is that after TRULY doing everything he coukdnt he still couldnt. I hope he comes back and finishes the job, he left too soon. I MISS YOU BB.
Steven Gerrard.
The greatest in Lfc, Prem, and English history. I will never forget watching an LFC game for the full 90 minutes for the first time and watching Gerrard put a screamer in the net. He made me want to play. He made me want Liverpool to win everything. He made me want him to win evrerything. Gerrard’s soell at Liverpool is the definition of YNWA. He never stopped. Never gave up. Never let anyone feel down. He never let anyone walk alone. Gerrard did things in that field that you’ll never see again because only Steven Gerrard could do it. I miss him so much but to this day I’m so blessed to have watched him the longest of them all. He deserved to play for a team that could give him more, but he knew Liverpool gave him the most of one thing, and that was real football. Gerrard’s journey is what English football is about, and it is the most beautiful thing you’ll ever see. I miss him so much.
Honorable mentions!!
-Sturridge
-Kuyt
-Hyypia
-Van Dijk
-Mane
-Firmino
here’s a feel good vid... i love my team
This… this is what raw emotion is. After being called shit, no good, a disgrace of a captain, and after giving eveything he could, he’s done it.
Mignolet went out of his way to find a tweet by Andy from 2012 to prove a point because he’s always the most supportive on LFC—even if he’s not the first choice goalkeeper.
You’ll never walk alone.
Why can't we win something
