How are the things going in the Fable? Who are the characters and what are they doing?
I don’t really want to talk too much about it and kinda reveal things at a certain pace, since I intend to actually make something with this story and don’t want to spoil things–
But here, take a mild overview of given information. Fable of the Fools takes place in a fantasy world in a country sorta based on Ireland (because Ireland is amazing), in an ambiguous time period similar to Zelda games. It’s a world where magic exists, but it’s not exactly looked on in a friendly way. Justice Reigns (may or may not end up renamed) is basically the government here.
Elliot - The protagonist. After a freak accident in an underground experiment, he ended up badly injuring his head and reducing his former memories to vague flashbacks and occasionally night terrors. With nowhere else to go after this accident, he and his friend Lucian vowed to take care of each other. No, they’re not married, calm down.
Lucian - Elliot’s best friend… supposedly. The only other known survivor of the experiment between the two of them, and knows more than he appears to. He seems to be hiding things from Elliot but claims it’s for the better and in the past. Somehow, he acquired the nickname Blue and adopted it.
Miles - A mysterious man with a rambunctious personality. For some reason, he seems to be hiding from the government. It probably has something to do with the fact that he’s running an underground rebellion society. He appears to have a personal history with the governing head of the country.
Austin - Miles’s partner in crime. He doesn’t really talk much about himself, but really likes to talk in general. He seems to have strong contempt with the government. For some reason, he seems to enjoy fighting and really likes rushing in headfirst into dangerous situations like an idiot.
Kurt - A strange man who comes across as blatantly apathetic, sort of like he never outgrew being a teenager. Notorious for making snide comments. He claims to work directly for Sean, but only when he feels like it. Nobody seems to know anything about him.
Sean - None other than the appointed head of the country, or as some call him, the pseudo king. He has an intimidating air about him, but somehow he sends the impression of having a good heart in spite of his harsher approach to justice. Miles keeps calling him Dante for some reason.
I’m being a bit vague for now, but again, I want to reveal information over time. :)
