I honestly love how honest kids are when on a lesson you ask them something like "what did you eat 20 minutes ago?". You can see them anxiously trying to remember what exactly did they eat 20 mins ago instead of randomly saying whatever the first food related word comes into their mind.

Also I don't know exactly how old you imagined, since Trish is the youngest at 15, but also I don’t really wanna think about like a 10-year-old joining the mafia,,, so I’m saying the reader here is like 13/14. here ya go, anon:

Bruno is pretty shocked by it (although not as much as Abbacchio is) at first 

He didn’t expect it, but he supposes he is the closest thing to a mother that you probably have 

After he gets over that momentary shock, his eyebrows come down and he gives you a gentle smile that tells you it's alright 

If you’re embarrassed about it, Bruno tells you not to be, he doesn’t really mind 

From that moment on, he just takes you even more in under his wing, if that’s even possible 

All of the gang members are like his children, but now he has one that he would actually consider himself a parent to 

Especially since the others are a lot closer in age to him 

Abbacchio.... Well we all know he doesn’t exactly like to be affectionate in front of others, preferring to give off a cold but nonchalant demeanor 

So when the word ‘papa’ slips out of your mouth one day, he doesn’t know how to react 

He tries to brush it off. 

“Um, chile--anyways, so,” 

But he can’t seem to get the incident, or the warm feeling in his chest that followed, off of his mind 

Everyone’s a little surprised that he doesn’t ever comment on it 

Narancia would think about teasing Abbacchio for it if he didn’t wanna call him dad too 

Abbacchio tells himself that he just doesn’t want to be rude to a little kid… 

But really he doesn’t mind acting more fatherly to you 

Don’t tell anyone that 

He can hardly believe it himself
