it had been a long time since the two of them had met up-- probably a few weeks or even months. after all, they had never been as close as she was with caroline, for example. there was never too much to catch up on but every time they did meet, zara felt like she was little again. “hey,” the brunette exhaled once the male opened the door for her, pulling him into a short embrace which was interrupted by the bump inbetween the pair. “i brought you some cupcakes.” zara smiled widely as she invited herself in.
