I like the idea of Laurence not really looking like a guard. He’s a skinny pretty boy who doesn’t look like he has enough muscle to win a fight especially next to the huge bulky head guard.

theoretically if kai had the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu there's no real way for him to have been sent back in time without him dying because well he's pretty much human i'd think so in MY mind's stupid eye all i think of is like

a. kai doesnt get sent back in time but instead goes a little overboard with the scroll and burns them all to a crisp in an act of desperate rage and/or ends up accidentally powering them up and smthng smthng relating to how much kai relies on his power to feel secure in a similar way to how lloyd relied on his power in season 3 and was so close to getting pissed off abt it. whether its kai refusing to drop the scroll because he's letting it consume him or if it's kai dealing with not being as powerful as he wants to be and learning to let go . in both instances it comes around to kai protecting his family and growing from his insecurities to me. a little bit of murder doesnt hurt
