I constantly forget I have a camera in my pocket at all times, so I never take as many photos as I should. I had to reach way back into August 2025 for this one (first autumnsign).

Took a bite of an apple at a Hekate & Lilith ritual and the bite looked a little like a skull. Thought that was dope.

Was gifted a new deck. Pulled out some of my fave imagery. (Yeah, it's basically just some of my fave animals.)

#all of the cards are nonhuman animals! i thought that was novel since tarot is generally pretty anthrocentric #it didn't come with a book but i will probably look up like... folkloric associations with the animals? or even just facts #(there's at least one card where i can't identify the animal so i DO wish it at had least come with a card that listed all of them lol)#anyway i like the idea of that extra interpretive layer. also the cards are small which is cute. mini deck #this malleable world

I actually constantly forget I have a camera in my pocket at all times (what a time to be alive) so I don't take a lot of photos and it sucks because if I did take more photos then I wouldn't have to worry so much about how dogshit my memory is 🤦🏿‍♀️ lol

these are all I have for May-July 2025:

a recording of a delightful tornado-siren-level storm we got in May (we haven't seen the likes since. I don't even think we've had a thunderstorm at all since then 😐)

met some people who have a lot of pets and this is one of them. thought his hoodie was charming

my beloved substation boyfriend, Nine

the property management company that owns our house has been systematically ruining everything that was wonderful about it, primarily the profuse and diverse plant life that had clearly been flourishing on this lot for decades before now. this is miserable and I was going to make a post about it but I couldn't find a good "before" shot (all my photos of the backyard from previous years were more close-ups of specific plants)

but this is what it looks like now. trust me it used to look much, much better than this

I love it when trees look like they're bleeding

and finally this is a license plate we saw the other day. sick Forgotten Realms reference
