When super returns for season two, do you think we’ll see the time patrollers saga with Future Trunks in it? I just really love him and miss him, wish they had kept future Trunks permanently in the present timeline. So many good interactions would’ve come out of it. Specially with Vegeta &Gohan. Maybe Goku too, because he seems to respect future Trunks a lot. Not to mention kid trunks would finally have the big brother he always wanted&Bulma loves him to death anyways. A missed opportunity rly!
*sigh*
I really get what you mean here, since I have a HUGE soft spot for Mirai Trunks myself, but I’m guessing that keeping him in the present timeline maybe would have messed things too much here in terms of the consequences of his space travel.
I’m not a huge expert when it comes to the time patroller stuff, because I don’t play Xenoverse, but since the whole thing seems to happen as a consequence of him messing with time, perhaps keeping him in this timeline wasn’t a real option.
Or, perhaps, they simply wouldn’t have known what to do with him, in regards to the main plot of the show, if they kept him with us full-time?
I would have loved to see him here too, honestly, that poor kid has been through enough, and his own timeline has been erased anyway, so it would have been sweet, especially seeing how eager Bulma was to keep her baby boy with her, but sadly it never happened.
About the Super question, I have no idea, but I recall watching this MasakoX video about Trunks and he did mention this theory somehow, so I think it might be possible?
Trunks still remains a really popular character, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he came back, and it would be great to see him again for sure!
“I’m so sorry, Winder. I tried. I tried, but I wasn’t good enough, and now you’re gone. Please forgive me, Winder. I tried, and I’m so sorry.”
I made myself sad, oops. So, anyway, this takes place about a month before the start of Saving the Light, in the aftermath of Christophsis. Toward the end of the battle, Winder, one of the 212th medics, got caught in an explosion. He was hurt bad, but Volt and Nexus tried to help him. They got him to the medbay of the Negotiator, and just when he started to seem like he might make it, he died due to the head trauma he suffered in the explosion.
Winder was part of the same squad of medic cadets that Volt and Nexus were part of, so both surviving medics were devastated, but Volt was absolutely shattered. Volt puts the deaths of all his patients on his shoulders even though it’s not his fault, so he blames himself for Winder’s death. Of course, Volt has a hard time allowing too many others see him fall apart, so he locked himself in a storage closet or something and broke down before Nexus finally tracked him down. Nexus doesn’t have the same tendency to put unnecessary blame on himself, so while he was devastated, he didn’t blame himself for Winder’s death, he blamed the Separatists.
Volt struggles with this for a long time, but Nexus (and later Sej) pick up on when he’s having a hard time, so they help him through it.

I don't know if it was mentioned before, but in ep 44 when Vegeta hugged his dad after he almost died trying to protect him, his arms were trembling. I can't imagine the trauma he would have had, if Vegeta had died for real.
Awww!!!
I think youmeant when Trunks hugged Vegeta???
YES! Thatscene gave me major feels, and it truly showed how much Trunks loves his Papa. And also, how comfortable he is hugging him now, which proves to me that theygot even closer after the whole Majin incident.
*sobs*
GT isn't so bad, the first part is like OG Dragon Ball with the hunting of the dragon balls but in space, then it devolves into Z with the villains the further it goes. The best parts of GT is Trunks wearing a dress, Pan's major crush on Trunks, and their little robot friend.
Oh, anon…
Iappreciate that you’re trying to encourage me to watch GT, but…
WHY did youmake me google the Trunks dressed as a girl thing?
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???
I’m gonnahave nightmares now!!!
Why is trunks attacking goku? Doesn't he know who he is?
I think you’retalking about this moment?

Well, if Irecall that scene correctly, Trunks had been unconscious, and he’d just comeback from the future (where he’d seen Goku Black), so I’m guessing he saw Gokuwhen he woke up, and he was so confused/traumatized that, for a moment, he musthave thought that he was Goku Black.
I feel sobad for this poor boy, I swear…
*sigh*
