I can't blame you for doing it, we all grow apart
I know this but i still take it to heart
what was the point of making be trust in smoke and mirrors
To open to you and shows my scars and fears
For you to just leave when i all i had was you and my lack of sleep
But thanks to you i learned how not to bury myself 6 feet deep
To not trust someone so quick
Since everyone gets sick of my shit
Now to the ones who are here for me now
Thank you for making me feel proud
That there is more to what everyone believes is "the right path"
To go to school, get married, and become a dad
I know now that there's more then being everyone else
That i should do what i think is right for my self
I know i can never say this enough
but i would be dead without your help
Thank you for everything you have done
And you become one of the past at least we had fun
Now to thank those who will come later in my time
The ones i haven't looked and have yet to find
i have no idea how much you'll mean to me
But i know you'll make me see
Whatever lesson i have to learn
No matter what the outcome or how sick the burn
It's weird talking about the future
Since you have no idea about adventure
All i know is that i will be lucky to have you to have you there
Even if it's just for a few days, some months, or for a couple of years
