I worked 12 1/2 hours today and I’m exhausted. I know for some of you that’s an average work day but not typical for me. I’ve just looked forward to getting home, taking care of my animals and picking up my book.

My fiancé is out of town for work this week and so I feel bad that my animals are home alone all day. But it’s only temporary.

My start to the new year hasn’t been bad at all and I hope you all have had time to set new goals for your future. I know I’m still working on mine.

Time to finish my read for the night and go to bed. Goodnight All 🌙

Today I started with the usual, a nice hot cup of coffee with my french vanilla cream.  I almost always skip breakfast, which I know is horrible, but my coffee always fills me up.  After, I gave all my animals their breakfast, I have three guinea pigs, two cats and one chihuahua.  They all eat like cows but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  

Starting a new business has been quite stressful but I am trying to enjoy every second that I can.  Today I’ll work on getting my workspace cleaned out and put together and building a few things.  But before all of that I think I’ll make some pan-fried gyoza as a snack. Hopefully, today I can carve out time to read my book, but if not there’s always tomorrow :)

Woke up feeling that familiar pull to work on myself and my future.  Lately it’s been extra hard to get anything done.  Started my day at Starbucks with my favorite drink the caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino and a blueberry muffin.  No matter how much I tell myself that it’s not that serious and I’m not that interesting I still always feel like all eyes are on me when I’m in public and can barely stand it for more than an hour.  Sometimes I just need to get out of the house but still don’t want to associate with people if that makes sense.  Living in Florida makes it hard for me to go really anywhere without encountering other people.  I just need a big forest to hide in to write and read my books.  Twilight aesthetic, rain and all. 

 This week I’ve been reading the Shadow and Bone series and I’m about halfway through Siege and Storm and I am obsessed.  It reminds me of the feeling I got as a teen reading the hunger games series.  Leigh Bardugo did an astounding job on this series and I can’t wait to read more.

Friday, August 26th, visiting family in GA for the week. Really missing my dog right now. Staying up late at night after our busy days to read and feel a little bit of security.

Friday, August 18th, 2022

It’s already been one of those days. Working nonstop on my projects which takes up quite a bit of my day. It’s worth it in the end.

A dog popped up in my yard a few days ago and no one knows where he came from. We’ve been taking care of him trying to find his owners but no one has come forward yet. I’d really hate to take him to the pound because he’s clearly scared.

Anyway, I’m sorry I haven’t been active the last few days as I’ve been working a lot. I will try to stay active as much as I can! How are you all doing? I love you all and hope you’re doing well!
