How Do You Need To be Loved?

calm, focused, tender. you need to be loved in the way teenagers kiss in the rain and giggle behind hands. you need to be loved like a child, taken care of, watched over, focused on. you need to feel the warmth of the sun, you need to feel the love rushing through your veins. you need to be reminded that love is worth it, and it’s beautiful to experience. you need to be loved in a way that is refreshing, again and again.

Which one sexts like a straight white boy?

Sid is actually suprisingly good at phone sex (he likes getting Ned flustered when he's in his office); while Ned is more along the "what are you wearing, what would you do if you were here right now, please finish burying that body so you can get over here and make out w/ me" as he fights not to get distracted, although neither of them are that terrible.

Which one cried during a fucking disney movie?

Ned is the one who gets weirdly invested in, like, Bambi (and then he angrily tries to deny it); Sid doesn't really watch or get emotional over over movies, except old comedy movies b/c they remind him of going to the movies with Ben when they were kids haha kill me.

Who put a goddamned fork in the microwave?

Both of them have done this sort of thing multiple times when it comes to period-accurate appliances. They're really better off just...not having any access to cookware.

Who does the silly hands-over-the-eyes “Guess who” thing?

Sid, except instead of Ned's eyes, he usually puts his hands on Ned's throats or shoulders, or the back of his neck...because Sid is highkey posessive and handsy as fuck. 

Who puts their cold hands/feet on their partner?

They both run pretty warm, so neither? Ned would totally be the one to do it, though. 

Who had that embarassing Reality TV marathon?

Neither of them really watch tv, but in a modern au, Ned would most definitely have an unhealthy obsession with Shark Tank or Hotel Impossible for a month or so (there's a lot of screaming at the tv during that month). 

Who laughs more during sex?

Ohhhh boy. Ned is the one who usually mouths off/makes snarky comments in bed, so Sid (who absolutely loves it) ends up being the one that laughs more - as he plots getting back at Ned for having such a huge attitude. 

WHO IS THE LITTLE SPOON?

I'D SAY SID, although there are a decent number of times when Ned ends up being the little spoon. I think that Ned likes being the big spoon because it allows him to demonstrate how posessive he is of Sid, especially because Sid is the usually one who actively demonstrates his posessive feelings (shoulder toucher, neck grabbing, topping, etc) when they're concious. Ned likes the reciprocity that being the big spoon demonstrates, while Sid likes being the little spoon because that's how it was when he and Ben were young and sharing a bed in the tenements, (not to mention the fact that Sid is tactile as fuck, and it just....feels good to be held by Ned).
