Can there be a thread about not being friends with someone just to take advantage of them and then leave?
Thats like adopting a puppy because its cute and it makes you look cool because it's a puppy. Then when it grows up and loves you and becomes attached to you, you just give it to a shelter. The dog is locked up in a cage alone, but it thinks you'll be back because you've always been there for it and it loves you so much so you must love it after caring for it for so long right? No. You leave that poor thing wondering what it did wrong, alone in a cage, surrounded by dogs barking at them. They're scared and alone and sad because their old owner decided they only wanted it until it was useless to them.
That's what it feels like when you bring someone into your life, befriend them, take advantage of them, and then up and leave them. They are lost, alone, scared, and surrounded by people barking at them to get over it, but they can't because they loved you. They trusted you. And now you're gone.
Think before you bring people into your life, because you might be ruining theirs.
