Lance was shaken to the core. That was too close. One second he was aiming to shoot and the next he was being knocked to the ground with a sword pointed at him. If Keith hadn’t stabbed the Galra in the back then he wouldn’t be alive right now. It seemed like the team felt that way too because they patted him on the shoulder and hugged him for dear life. If Lance had died then he wouldn’t get to see his family. He would never feel his mom’s hugs squeeze the air out of him, or the feeling of your entire family joining in for a group hug. The only thing that keeps Lance going is his family. He promised to himself to stay alive and get home. Even if that meant he singlehandedly shot Lotor to pieces. He would go home.
