H A P P Y • S A M H A I N Tonight represents the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the new year, starting with the descent into winter, the darkest time of year. It is also the night when the veil between this world and the spirit world is the thinnest. So tonight I light a candle with my intentions for the coming seasons, accented with marigolds to help in manifestation and in honor of those loved ones who have crossed over to the other side. And although it normally would be red wine, I'm having a rum and cider in honor of my dad.
