Let’s not forget The S & R Radio Show/Podcast was ahead of it’s time... Before Joe Budden’s podcast, before Drink Champs & before most popular podcasts u know of it was us... @djredz & myself started our podcast about 4yrs ago! We set the trend & broke many barriers! We gave the spotlight to guest DJs, upcoming artists, established artists, authors, local athletes, local entrepreneurs, comedians, models, fashion designers, barbers and more!! We paid homage to all the old school rappers by creating throwback Wednesday once a month. We also created the very first “Ladies Night” on a podcast ever! Giving local female entrepreneurs a chance to showcase what they do, inspire other young women & shine. This podcast also birthed the career of @steadystills. It was on this podcast that he made a name for himself. Many people went on from our podcast to have success & I’m proud to know that myself & DJ Redz & also @djfaraway gave them an opportunity to speak, to be heard & to promote themselves. Sometimes I don’t feel like we get the proper respect for what we’ve done. We paved the way for a lot! We had a weekly podcast before it was popular to have a podcast! Now everybody & dey momma got a podcast! @ot_thereal fresh out & first time on a podcast/radio show was with us!!
