Why People Deviate After Guidance

It was said to Sh. Bin Bāz Raḥimahullāh: “O Shaykh, so-and-so went back to (his old ways of misguidance).”, so the Shaykh said: Perhaps his deviation is because of two affairs:

• Not asking Allāh for firmness • Not thanking Him for guidance to the Right Path
